Everybody give a lot of importance to all kinds of accessories they use from their personal wear to their cars to their deco's at home. In the same way even small things like Cigar ashtrays are something to be given attention to.

The simplest, most common ashtray design is that of a circle with a hollow cylindrical rim around a flat surface. Now more and more people are looking for different features in their Cigar Ashtrays. Like the size of the container, it should be large and deep enough to hold all the ash-drops that the cigar creates. You should also see that the ashtray is sturdy enough to absorb an incidental shock and also not slippery. Another important feature is that the width of the ashtray should be big enough to support a cigar on a horizontal level otherwise the cigar would be tilting down with the coal resting in the base of the tray. So, this can suffocate the one side that is touching the tray and cause the cigar to burn unevenly.
These days you would also find ashtrays with three notches at the edges, two to the width of a cigarette and one to that of the diameter of a cigar. The purpose of these notches is to provide as rests for your cigars or cigarettes while still burning. Every other minute you take a puff from your cigar you should be careful to drop the ashes in the ashtray, you surely do not want to spill the ashes everywhere .Also keep your cigar safe in the ashtray notches, obviously it will be difficult to keep your cigar in your hand the whole time when you have to do some work or get something.

Help me school him? ?
At my barn i ride a 6 year old Cob. He isn't properly schooled yet, I am going up every Friday night to ride him for 1 hour. He struggles with: cantering on the left rein, circles (drops his outside shoulder), canter transitions ( doesnt go when asked). Can you think of any activties to do to help him? Thank you xxx
For cantering on the left rein:
Work a lot on the left rein. Usually horses struggle on one side because their other side is stronger, so work on the left rein more to develop more muscle and it will be easier over time. Make sure you use a lot of outside leg and your outside rein against his neck for extra support, but also don't forget a good amount of inside leg and pull back with your elbow (not towards your stomach with your wrist) on the inside rein. You'll be giving the inside leg and inside rein to create a bend and help improve balance while supporting and creating a wall with your outside rein and outside leg to help him so he doesn't fall out while asking for inside bend.
For circles (and dropping his outside shoulder): Do a lot of serpentine and use the same bending methods as I explained above for cantering. When he drops his outside shoulder, support him with more outside leg and rein and move him forward around your inside leg more, making him engage in the hind quarters.
As for cantering transitions, I would suggest an aid such as spurs or a crop, whip to help you. Spurs will help so he can understand your signals better. If you ask him with your leg and he doesn't respond, give him a light tap on the shoulder with your crop. If he continues to not listen, I would suggest a good whack on the shoulder to let him know you mean business and when you say to canter, that he'll learn to do it. If that still doesn't work, I would highly recommend a dressage to do light taps (only light!) on his hind quarters when he chooses to ignore you. To also help, work A LOT on transitions and changing directions. This way he'll start paying more attention because he'll start noticing all the change you're asking of him and he'll concentrate harder. Go from walk to trot to canter to walk to canter back to trot, change direction ,etc. Just mixing it up as much as you can so he can stop the anticipation.
